USB keeps connecting & disconnecting every 5 or so seconds

Received a MyPos Mini D200. Helpdesk put the device in "slave" mode, changed all the settings as they told me to change the device settings to "Cash Register" -> USB & Sim Card financial host. Changed all USB power settings on my PC. Tried to connect to different PC's and tried different cables. MyPos sent me a new device, did everything the same, same problems. What is going on?
