Missing the .efm8 file from firmware/efm8ub1. I can't flash without it, can you please upload it?

Are you talking about the built executable? If so, it's available from https://2017.badge.cryptovillage.org/firmware/v0.9/cpv17.boot, which can be flashed with the efm8load tool.
