What's the plan for a new release? For hickory-dns, I got a PR that wants to pin a specific commit because the last release causes linking issues. The project seems active yet the last release is 2 years old. Suggest it's time? It doesn't have to be perfect...

The problem is that images dont build due to upstream changes, we have #1580 to solve part of that though. The plan is to release when the images work properly and the milestone goals are cleared or moved to another milestone: https://github.com/cross-rs/cross/milestone/2

Moreover, I would guess coreutils is not the only project suffering from it.

@0323pin Please use #1613 or another related issue for talking about when the release will happen, we're still in the same situation as I've described previously. We're way further ahead now though.
