Box2d
Box2d is a 2D physics engine. You can install it via pip install -e '.[box2d]' and then get started as follows:

import gym
env = gym.make('LunarLander-v2')
env.reset()
env.render()

In my case the build error for box2d-py-2.3.8 was like

error: command 'swig' failed: No such file or directory
      [end of output]
  
  note: This error originates from a subprocess, and is likely not a problem with pip.
  ERROR: Failed building wheel for box2d-py
  Running setup.py clean for box2d-py
Failed to build box2d-py
ERROR: Failed to build installable wheels for some pyproject.toml based projects (box2d-py)

so i did
sudo apt-get install build-essential swig

then continued with

pip install box2d-py
pip install gym[box2d]
