I'm not sure this is possible or even within the scope of TT, but on a somewhat regular basis I find myself wishing I had a physical keyboard connected to my device solely for the key combos/hot keys (most frequently for text edit/selection actions, i.e., select all, "shift-click"/range selection, Undo, Home, End, Pg↑/Pg↓, copy/cut/paste etc., but also browser and 3rd party app-specific shortcuts, too).
The main issue is that there are only so many ways to invoke the virtual keyboard, mainly switching focus to a text field, however there are plenty of opportunities where a keyboard shortcut would prove useful that are simply not possible, as there's no way to bring up the virtual KB to send them. Even with more capable alternatives like Hacker's Keyboard or Unexpected Keyboard that include keys that Gboard and other Android KBs lack, there's no way to use them if you can't bring them up.
While the TT options for static text selection are fewer than when editable, it got me wondering if something like keyboard emulation would be possible from the context menu in the scenarios where one is unable to call on the on-screen keyboard.
Honestly, something like this could get complex and might even be better suited to its own dedicated app, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if you determine it to be out of scope. Yours is just the only app I know of currently where functionality like this could conceivably fit
