Having the same issue.

In my VSCode-Workspace I have multiple folders and when trying to reference a file in the Chat, i can only use the ones from the first folder in my Workspace.

Same here. It doesn't seem to understand multi-root workspaces.

Are there any plans to work on this ?

That "problem" implies to have as much VSCode instances as one has projects in his/her portfolio and that can be ressource intensive with microservices !

Although I'll try to give it a look later ...
I'll try to adapt the extension (https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/wiki/Adopting-Multi-Root-Workspace-APIs).
Is there a process I have to respect for the review of design proposals I will eventually make ? I din't see anything related to visual design in CONTRIBUTING.md.

I too would like to see this resolved/supported. I always work with many folders added to a workspace, all related, but the agent never seems to associate to the project folder when discussing or needing to edit files.
