Been a while but this is still happening for me; I'm trying to run npm install webview-nodejs (attempting to install globally returns the same thing), but it can't find the compiler when trying to use cmake-js.

I've tried installing VS build via chocolatey, build tools via the VS installer, just plain VS, running vsvarsall.bat to set every needed environment variable, cmake via chocolatey, cmake via msi installer, deleting and reinstalling node and its required build tools, all of it. I only have the 2019 build tools installed right now, and this is what it says (for both local and global install and when --force is used):

I'm not sure where the permission issues are coming from--or if that is the problem--but I'm at a loss for what's going on. Trying to npm install globally in admin powershell returns the same message above (including the permission errors). The C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2019\BuildTools directory has the following contents:

I'm posting this here as to not create a duplicate issue. Any ideas? I've tried most of the suggested fixes in past similar issues, and none of them worked for me.
