[Question] Delta Chat RPC server #7785

Description

@sjehuda

Greetings.

I would want to know what this software is exactly.

Delta Chat RPC server

This program provides a JSON-RPC 2.0 interface to DeltaChat over standard I/O.

https://github.com/chatmail/core/tree/main/deltachat-rpc-server

Would it be correct to assume, that "deltachat-rpc-server" is an internal, or local, server which invisibly operates in the background (i.e. so called "daemon")?

Would it be, then, correct to state, that deveolpers who desire to create Chatmail software, can communicate with "deltachat-rpc-server" for it to do Chatmail negotiations in their stead (that is, "in-stead" or "instead"), rather than having them (developers) to integrate Chatmail support on their own?
