Public repositories are for research, tooling, and interfaces; private repositories hold production products, customer-sensitive work, and internal infrastructure. Default branches are protected, CODEOWNER review is required, and security reports should go through private channels. Use this discussion area for company-level announcements, operating notes, and public-facing coordination.
