ORCID, DOI and ROR should normalize to their normalize to their URL forms. I should verify we're on the same page before implement this change. It's easier to implement a ORCID number rather than the longer URL. Same for DOI. It'd be nice to have a normalization function that explicitly let us pick which is the "normal" form.
