Hi everyone,
I am trying to install the R package PortfolioAnalytics
on macOS (Apple Silicon), but I cannot get it to install successfully because of dependency issues related to Rsymphony / ROI.plugin.symphony.
I am not an expert in R package installation or system dependencies, so apologies if this has already been solved in another discussion.

What I tried
I tried several approaches:
Installing directly from CRAN:
Installing from GitHub
Downloading the .tgz manually and installing locally
Installing dependencies through Homebrew
Trying to manually install Rsymphony
Installing symphony through brew and pointing include/lib paths manually
If anyone has suggestions for installing PortfolioAnalytics on Apple Silicon + R 4.6, I would really appreciate the help.
Thank you very much.
