Tr8n gets slow when you have a many labels to be translated

Our application has large number of data that gets translated .

Here's the stats
When I set language as en-US (which does not required translation)
response time = 1.5 - 2 sec

when I change my language to say turkish or russian
my response time changes to 7-9 sec ,

Have you tried enabling the cache in the config file?

Yes I have my cache enabled. Some info

I use memcache server trhough Dalli gem
Roughly I have around 200-250 labels in a page that needs to translated
