According to https://app.devin.ai/review/bcit-tlu/haproxy-operator/pull/1#analysis-ANALYSIS_pr-review-job-c6977a4a71df4ccea26f6c278223c67a_0004, using a select with time.After and ctx.Done() would be more responsive.
