Screen customization

Hi, if I wanted to customize the screens with different colors, backgrounds, and maybe make everything dark, what do I need to change?

There's an example dark.css theme, and the ability to override templates through the templates/custom directory should give you the flexibilty needed.

Hi, I updated to the new version and it seems like I copied all the files, but when I try to select the theme from the drop-down menu under the user profile, nothing appears, as if it wasn't loading the themes. What did I forget to do? (I also updated the database.)

Do you have a config/themes.json in place? This file controls what themes the users may select and links the theme name to a specific style sheet. There is an example file you can copy over.

Hi, I tried looking at both the apache2 and BinktermPHP logs, but it doesn't tell me anything; I also tried using the console with F12, but nothing. My question is, is there a way to update the project (not the database) with a script when the various fixes are made available? On an existing install you'd just use git pull to retrieve the latest updates.

Hi @aniceto1977 I wanted to give you a heads up that I'll be including a specific upgrade guide for the next 'big release' of BinktermPHP. I've also posted notes to #42

The README will also have an Upgrading section that has instructions for upgrade. I reviewed the install procedure as well and fixed a number of problems. I've also started on an installer but I don't have an ETA for that - I expect that will be much later still.
