searching and installing packages from the command-palette

I'd love to see this feature implemented - a la package manager in ST3.
It'd be so much easier to search for and install packages on the fly from the command palette, without having to navigate to settings and wait the (awfully slow) package list to populate.

just to add to this, it would be great if you could navigate to the package setting page for already installed packages straight from the command-palette

This should be core functionality, Atom steals a lot of users from ST3, and should imitate its strong features, such as that one.
