Live elements for word forms

This is not an urgent issue, but it's one that I think would be pretty useful with all the word form possibilities Asterics gives us.

Could there be a live element that displays the last selected button in another page - and maybe even ones that display the button but changed to whatever word form or word form combination you set them up to show (or the "default word form" where it's not applicable)?
So you could still do "change element in speech bar to this word form", but have the label not be whatever the wordform is called or you put, but what this wordform is for the last element in the speech bar.

That is how TD Snap does Inflections, and it's very useful for not having to know the grammar to translate, I don't know, "past perfect continuous" into "had been running", and whatever other tenses a language has (or more of them, for multilingual pagesets... though I don't know yet if word form buttons even work bilingually, or if I'll have to "double-book" all the word forms so one button can have the same action for both languages, or make separate inflections pages somehow? Problem for another time.)

There are open issues for suffix/prefix (#404) and there's this #349 (comment), not sure if it's related to what you are asking for.

I'm a bit confused by the Pictogram prediction, it could be that that's what I want?? Not sure. Either way, I tried to show it:

How I'd want it to work (except, you know, actually work, and not as basically a stop-motion video...) - TD Snap displays the ones that don't have an active word form as inactive, but I didn't do that here. Or else as "empty"... Would be a thought, I don't know.
(I'm not sure yet if I'm going to be able to keep this complexity of grammar or if i'm going to have to do it different somehow - we'll see. But this was my "how does english grammar work" WIP page that I borrowed for testing.)

Oh yes. And in reality, hopefully it'd work with the last selected element, no matter if it's on the page right now or in a different one - this was just for demonstration. (Because for "change elements on page" we already kinda have an option, even if it needs separate change buttons, or linking the actual buttons to the word forms somehow)

Ok, the video makes it clear to me.
Technically it's achievable at the moment by adding word forms to the grammar buttons but it's a lot of steps to program it like that, so if there's a way to display this automatically that would be better.

...it also would solve #401 because then one could just add a 'speak label' action to the grammar button and it would speak the correct word instead of the grammar label.

Yeah, it's not efficient because one has to program the same data in two places. I imagine that there is a technical way to display the existing data.

Also because there'd be a good what, 200 word forms in some parts?
and word forms are currently only working to affect the message window or the current grid, so not from home grid to inflections e.g.

... I meant "current element", not live element, in the "how the UI could look"

word forms are so full of possibilities here, but also so complicated to understand! Really have to work on it more.
(it would be helpful if it saved custom word form tags at least, but that's yet another issue once I have the spoons to make more of them)
