The provided example does not work and nothing is starting. Any further examples on Android cordova?

Sorry, I've used this plugin for the last time 9 month ago, something could have changed there.
I would suggest looking at src code or searching for some more supported plugin.

@bendikl added MIT license, but I would still suggest that you build your own plugin (probably based on something from this one if you'd like).
This project lacks tests and proper understanding of how native platforms work, not saying about effeciency and battery usage. It was intended to be a proof of concept for my cordova app almost a year ago. It had worked, but everything could have changed since then.
