Possible porting to Linux/macOS using .Net Core? #5

This is really an amazing app that solves my everlasting problem!!
However, I'm working on various OS platforms and I really wish this cool function could also run Linux and macOS.
I tried to use javascript to manipulate the chrome-extension page but no luck.
Is it possible to port this app to Linux/BSD/macOS platform?
