At the moment it is not supported, but it would be awesome to add it. I leave this issue open to mark this as part of a development roadmap. Anyone, feel free to start working on this.

I removed the good first issue label because crafting IPv6 headers may not be easy for first-time contributors. This is a feature I would like to see implemented in pythonping at some point, but demand is relatively low and we don't have many contributors, so it may be a while before we are able to implement it.
