Whatsweb 0.3.4 would not open - freezes on the screen showing the WhatsApp logo and the timeline

Whatsweb would not open the app when I press the icon. The app freezes on the screen showing the WhatsApp logo and the timeline.

I have rebooted the app, re-installed the app; nothing worked

Yea, me too. It looks like a universal problem. I have even tried doing a factory reset of the phone but it did nothing
