Connection error toast appearing even when multi tasking (switching to a different app)

Connection error toast appearing even when multi tasking (switching to a different app). Note that when back button is pressed and the app is properly closed, the toast stops coming, Also on live debug ; found that on pressing back button the onDestroy() method is called
