Finding info from course slides is difficult

Example: It proved to be quite difficult to find the Git reference from the Lecture 1 slides. Scrolling through a hundred pages was not cool, when the search-feature of the browser couldn't be used.

Yep, I could change the URL directly, if i knew the exact slide number.

Good point. I should put an hyperlinked TOC at the beginning of the slides. I'll try to add it.

Would it be possible to provide the slides in the PDF format (in addition to the HTML5 version, working only with Chrome)? PDF files just work on any device and are much more user friendly, too.

I got a bit carried away and implemented a search extension to deck.js, that's driving the course slides. ;)

Perhaps we can try PDFs, too, if that search is not enough for everyone. ;)

PDFs would be great. Printing HTML5 slides--or the quality of the output to be precise--is just awful.

I've found a way to convert the slides to PDF (using wkpdf gem on Mac). The PDF slides of the lecture1 are now online and I'll make the other ones available online in PDF as well.
