Pillar 8 bookkeeping cleanup: Math58-cascade content audit + reattribution + Math147 dual-attribution resolution — SUPERSEDED 2026-05-27 by Math420-AddA closure (see above) — superseded entry marker; see resolution above
Pillar: P8
Tier: T7
Details
[OPENED 2026-05-27 — Math420 first 1-pillar deep-dive finding] Context: Math420 deep-dive found three concrete attribution defects for Pillar 8 ("Cosmological constant suppression"): (i) pillar_status.json Pillar 8 description ("Λ suppression by ~120 orders via condensate zero-point cancellation under Reading H") vs key_math_notes = [Math147] MISMATCH (Math147 body has 0 hits for Λ-suppression vocabulary; it covers CMB/GW/DM observables); (ii) Math58 family v2..v7-AddC (the substantive Λ-suppression cascade) self-labels "Pillar11" in 9 of 13 filenames — orphaned from current Pillar 8 since the 2026-05-26 reclassification renamed Pillar 11; (iii) Math147 dual-attributed to BOTH Pillar 8.key_math_notes AND Pillar 11.key_math_notes. Honest tier reassessment downgraded Pillar 8 from T7 inherited to T4 STRONG EVIDENCE pending Math420-AddA cleanup.
Closure criteria (one of):
-
Path R (Reattribution-positive): Math58 v2..v7-AddC content audit confirms Λ-suppression mechanism matches current Pillar 8 description at TECT canonical params (Reading H, $q_*$, etc.) → reattribute Math58 family headers Pillar11 → Pillar8; add to Pillar 8 key_math_notes; reassess whether Math58-v7-AddC's "PROVED CONDITIONAL" tier translates to T6/T7 under current standard (§7 nomenclature); resolve Math147 dual-attribution (remove from Pillar 8 if it does not anchor Λ-suppression).
-
Path N (Reattribution-negative): Math58 cascade does NOT substantiate current Pillar 8 description → revise pillar_status.json Pillar 8 description to honestly reflect what Math147 (or whichever note actually anchors the pillar) claims; reassess tier accordingly; consider whether Pillar 8 as currently defined needs a new T7-capable anchor note or honest demotion to T2 CONJECTURE.
Falsification gate: if neither R nor N path resolves within 14 days (review-by 2026-06-10), escalate to a Math421-class deep-dive that explicitly rewrites pillar_status.json Pillar 8 entry to whichever honest
