Converter Work

• Our work on the converter requires specific examples for testing
• Currently, we lack sufficient examples to properly test conversion
• Existing examples are too large, unspecific, and include things that are not implemented yet

Action Items

• Combine the editor meeting with the dev meeting for a 30-minute hack session to check on progress, ask questions, and familiarization with the pySBOL2 library
• Creation of comprehensive list of SBOL examples
• Ensure clarity on problem ownership to avoid overlap by assigning issue to yourself here: https://github.com/SynBioDex/SBOL-Notebooks/issues
• Create a branch or fork for your work and submit a pull request (PR) when done

Roadmap

• Creation of more targeted, specific examples
• Development of SBOL Notebooks repository: GitHub Link
• Repository contains three folders: Examples, Getting-Started, Workshops notebooks

"Getting Started" folder:

• For newcomers to SBOL(biologists and developers)
• Introduces basic genetic circuits, then progresses to plotting with DNAplotlib
• Additional documents will be added

"Examples" folder:

• pySBOL2 example branch includes an SBOL2 folder
• Another folder, "Creating SBOL2Objects," contains a notebook example covering "cut"
