How to build the project?

There is an issue with the package naming. It seems like they should not start with digits. Is there a specific way you recommend building the project?
Another build problem, hello-world is using the no_std environment but its dependency which is windows-kernel-build, is using the std environment.

You should be able to run cargo make sign in each of the example directories to build the corresponding driver, but I haven't done this in a while and need to set up a Microsoft Windows machine to test if this still works fine. The end of this article should be helpful with figuring out how to build the examples, but let me know if you run into any issues, so I can have a look on a Microsoft Windows machine again.

Actually, you check if PR #5 causes problems by reverting to a commit before that change. I haven't really tested the PR, because there is no Github workflow for this project. They used to be named "driver" before that PR.

windows-kernel-build is only a build dependency, i.e. it is only used by build.rs, not the actual driver. So it shouldn't matter that it is not no_std.

With some efforts I was able to compile the code in this git repo. I have created a fork and made minor changes to build the driver. The BKMs to compile hello-world driver are documented in here

For what it is worth, I should have some more time to look at this in around the middle of November. I expect that some things have changed since I last went through the effort of setting all of this up (especially since I did this on Microsoft Windows 10), so I am planning to set up a fresh Windows installation again and walk through the steps to see what the issues are.

Thanks for sharing this! I am also curious about what challenges you faced exactly, it might be helpful to update this repository too at some point so people have a better starting point.
