Can it be handled?

Short answer: Yes it can, but it would require us to compromise a bit on a functionality in pxmake.

Long answer:
The reason PxEdit gives a warning is, that the figures in a PX-files shouldn't have a name. It's only when we show the data in a table format, that it makes sense to have a column name for it, which we in pxmake has chosen to be figures_ (unless another is specified).

However, we could still do this, without explicitly writing that name to the PX-file. The reason we have done it anyway is, that we, earlier in the development, put a lot of effort into making px() and px_save() each others inverse. For example we wanted to be able to write to Excel, to PX-file, and back to Excel, and end up with exactly the same file. This required tracking the name of the figures variable--something which PX-files aren't designed to do.

We have since relaxed a bit on the inverse requirement, and as I write this, I think it would be better to get rid of VARIABLECODE for figures, to make more correct PX-files, while suffering a tiny loss in functionality.
