Currently, our contributor documentation makes a lot of assumptions about the skill level of potential contributors - that they are fully versed in terms like "clone", "fork", etc. We can improve the process of getting someone up and running (potentially as their first contribution anywhere) by linking to the associated Git commands, or providing a "Setup for those new to Git" section
