Unable to pair via Bluetooth on Android 13

When I use Android 7 on my ancient phone to run the app, I'm able to pair and flash perfectly. However, when using Android 13 on our new tablet, the app is unable to connect to the micro:bit with the error message "Timeout: We cannot find that micro:bit. Retry?"

In the tablet settings, I'm able to pair with the micro:bit manually, but it still doesn't show up in the app.

For anyone reading this, the workaround is to get a cable that can plug into your Android device. My tablet has a USB-C port, so I got a micro-USB to USB-C cable.

You can just go to MakeCode in your device's web browser and download the code. The app is not necessary.

Plug your micro:bit into your Android device with the cable and it should show up as a USB device in your Android device's file manager. Then you can just copy the .hex file from Downloads to the micro:bit just like you would with a computer.
