Problem installing OpenIoT as-is with virtual machine

I trying to use the OpenIoT Virtual machine (as-is) and i cannot complete this step:

Starting xGSN to push data into the OpenIoT system.

as when i start the x-gsn the console emits this error

and if i go to the next step the ui.requestdefinition page emits the error in the browser: there was an error connecting to the OpenIoT scheduler service
