e-mail notifications

A very interesting feature to add is an e-mail notification for newly added projects. If, for example, I'm working with some specific organism or method, it would be very interesting for me to be aware of new data sets that are being added to the database. This can help people keep track of new projects and data without the need of tracking them in the publications.
