Hey, it could be super cool to add a keyboard shortcut to open and use Zotero and/or that one can modify citations and not only edit them. It would also be interesting to access the marker to find the sources directly from Onlyoffice without selecting the sources in Zotero beforehand.

I’m trying to use open-source software instead of Microsoft Office, but I need to be just as efficient, which is why I’d like to suggest some new improvements

Currently, the tool functions well for inserting new citations, but I have identified three areas where the integration could be more powerful and user-friendly:

Universal Keyboard Shortcut: I request the implementation of a specific keyboard shortcut that triggers Zotero actions in two contexts:

• Context 1: Upon selecting an existing citation text, the shortcut should allow immediate access to the full citation view or editing mode.
• Context 2: When the cursor is placed in the document body, the shortcut should prompt the "Insert Citation" dialog instantly. This would eliminate the need to use the menu bar or toolbar icons.

Edit Existing Citations: At the moment, the workflow is limited to creating new citations only.

• Using the same keyboard shortcut, users should be able to select and edit (update metadata, text, or link) existing citations directly within the document without opening the main Zotero library window.

Direct Source Access (Library Search): It would be highly beneficial to access Zotero's internal organization directly from the document editor.

• Allow users to search Zotero markers, tags, collections, or labels directly from the document interface. This would let us retrieve sources without manually selecting them from the Zotero desktop app beforehand.
