Can you tell me how to set SupportProtectedContent to true for the external index?

Hi @colin-tactuum,
That package is not changing anything about setting up stuff in umbraco, you should check Umbraco docs: https://our.umbraco.com/Documentation/Reference/Searching/Examine/indexing/
You may need to replace index creator, as I dont remember now how umbraco indexers / populators are working :)
