Pre-commit Error with Prettier

Not sure if it's just my system but if I try to run pre-commit, I'm getting an error with nodeenv which is coming from prettier.
I have not been able to track down the specific cause.

work around was

SKIP=prettier pre-commit run |git commit ....

but would love to actually fix

😬 I normally just run and push from the hub and I never did pre-commit install in my env there. I am not seeing this issue that you reported locally, but I think we need a ticket for running pre-commit on all the files and adding it to CI so that we don't get into this state again.
