I'm a beginner trying to contribute to this project by writing unit tests, but I ran into a build issue:

From what I understand, this error occurs because the project or a dependency is trying to use internal compiler classes (sun.tools.javac.tree.Tree) which are no longer available in modern Java versions (Java 9+). Since the project uses Spring Boot 3.2.2, which requires Java 17+, I’m unsure how to proceed.

Could you please clarify:

1. Is this issue known? Would you like help removing/updating the component causing this?
2. Should I wait until this build issue is resolved before contributing unit tests?
3. Also, is there any other beginner-friendly issue I could work on (maybe docs or setup improvements)

Hey the issue is not known and the project should run fine with Java17.
I can look into the branch if you could push your code changes.

Hey @ShashwatDiwan,

I updated the project to JKD21 and the newest stable Spring version.
You were right there was an compile-error with the JKD21 and newer Spring Versions, pls checkout the latest master branch, it should now compile without errors.

I also created some new good first Issues if you wanna look into them:

• Add @IgnoreDynamicRelation Annotation #41
• Add simple utility to print all mapped relations for an entity #42
• Add utility to list all entities registered with DynamicRelations #43
