UI not working / Failed to upload demo chunk

I have 2 errors I am trying to fix:

1. When opening the link to the UI, it says "Waiting for Backend." This happens regardless of whether TF2 is closed, open, or in a match. The backend terminal does not report any errors.

2. At the end of matches, the backend terminal gives:

Things I have tried:

• rebooting
• sudo apt upgrade && sudo apt update
• disabling ufw

I also have the UI running, which I cloned from source and ran with pnpm.

Note: I have run the backend with -p 8081 to prevent conflict with one of my other programs.

Issue 1 seems to have fixed itself. For anybody curious, the UI will use another port if 8080 is already in use. Issue 2 still persists.
