東京大学大学院情報学環・学際情報学府の筧康明研究室（xlab）は、主に2020年度の研究・制作成果を紹介するイベント xlab Online Showcase 2021を開催します。
</p>
<p>
本オンラインイベントは、テーマに基づくプロトタイピング作品展示、ゲストを交えたトークセッション、およびメンバーによるインタラクティブな研究発表セッションで構成されます。プロトタイピング作品展示は、3/27(土)から3/29(月)までの3日間、オンラインで行われます。さらに、トークセッションおよびインタラクティブ研究発表セッションは、3/28(日)午後にZoom上で開催します（事前登録が必要です）。

<p>
今回のテーマは「Narrative Materials -ものがたるものたち-」としました。『ものづくり』と『ものがたり』の関係について、さまざまな観点からアプローチします。オンライン開催となりますが、皆様のご来場・ご参加をお待ちしております。

<p>コロナ禍において、周囲のモノとの接触や距離、その履歴、さらにはそこにある（かもしれない）見えない存在との関係を今まで以上に意識せずにはいられません。
モノはものを（多く）語りませんが、私たちはその形・姿・動き・痕などから情報を読み取ることができます。
それらはモノ自体のみならず、周囲の環境（との関係）を捉える手がかりにもなります。
これは人間からの一方的な関係のみならず、モノも私たちの記憶や情動を呼び起こし、行動を促すなど、周囲に働きかけてきます。</p>
<p>今回のプロトタイプ展示では、モノと人間を含む環境との相互の働きかけに目を向け、
モノの「ナラティブ」としてあぶり出すことを試みます。
展示されるプロトタイプは、コンピュテーショナルに造形／制御／介入等されたモノを通して、
周囲との相互作用（インタラクション／リレーション）を形成・強調します。</p>
<p>その技法や素材が導く質感や体験、変化の過程、さらにはノイズや偶発的要素などに光を当て、ナラティブを抽出します。</p>
