I know, slack is slack :) But should $PATH not also include the /mnt/c paths to use .exe in the terminal ?
Like:
:/mnt/c/WINDOWS/system32:/mnt/c/WINDOWS:/mnt/c/WINDOWS/System32/Wbem:/mnt/c/WINDOWS/System32/WindowsPowerShell/v1.0/:/mnt/c/WINDOWS/System32/OpenSSH/:/mnt/c/Users/manfr/AppData/Local/Microsoft/WindowsApps
Without deeper knowledge it is really difficult to figure this out. Just like no one knows that in /mnt/c/user is the mounted onedrive directory if you use onedrive.
Since this is probably the last real Linux for WSL1 i hope you consider to add this essential feature. systemd and WSL1 are not friends.
Otherwise thank you for your work !
