Hey there! Thanks for releasing such a nice module! I wanted to compile some corrections for the build guide just to make the path easier for folks ahead. If I can manage a way to edit the PDF myself I will, but until then:
- BOM has SMD electrolytic caps that are unnecessary. Not a huge deal, but I know for sure that at least one company is selling kits based off that BOM, and I imagine other people are ordering them unnecessarily.
- Copied section from Orgone Accumulator about building the teensy headers tells you to solder the 3 pins in the AREF section of the Teensy, which is unnecessary, then tells you to solder the female headers to the board. Later in the guide it tells you that soldering the female headers to the board already would have been a mistake, which is not especially friendly to newer builders since the guide is just flat out contradicting itself (and implying it's your fault if you followed the instructions in order).
- The section suggesting that the LEDs may need different resistor values is separated from the actual diagram where those resistors are shown, and the diagram ambiguously labels which resistors those even are and does not include them in the color coded list on the side. Maybe it would be easier to keep in mind if the LED resistors were listed on the side with an asterisk that points to a note about potential changes to the resistor values directly beneath the diagram?
- The guide says that three jumper wires are used in daisy chaining, when it is actually only one (the topmost one).
Definitely not a huge deal for any experienced builders, but I figure those corrections might make things a bit easier for folks who are newer to building or who do not wish to mine various threads to put all those corrections together.
