Event form still using ticket information when changing from standalone to repeating

When changing an event from Multipart (standalone) to Standard (repeating), the info regarding the amount of available tickets is not cleared, despite the field to change this being disabled.

This results in an event page with a listed amount of tickets, but that you can't sign up for.
