Feature Summary:

Some form of slider that adjusts the threshold of analog tilt for walk to activate and the tilt for run to activate. hopefully can be made independent of aiming controls and other unrelated analog functions.

Is your proposal related to a problem?

Playing the original ps2 release and hd version back to back it becomes apparent that the hd version has a moderately problematic walk run function, at least for certain controllers. In as precise terms as possible, walk seems to consistently activate too late, requires too much tilt, and run activates too early requiring too little tilt, this ends up making the range where walk is triggered too narrow. In original camera mode it becomes difficult to smoothly walk in different directions without either stopping or accidentally triggering run. you have to painstakingly feather the stick to get into the right zone. This is not a simple deadzone issue given the sensitivity aim functions operate with, the threshold for aim movement is significantly smaller than for walk.

Describe the solution you'd like

Two variables to specifically adjust both the walk activation and the run activation would be ideal.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Unfortunately steam input no longer offers the ability for a two dimensional stick response curve. The single axis I have found is not sufficient for solving the problem.
