Distance rings are invisible on grey background (slope and/or hillshade template)

The grey color for distance rings is invisible on grey templates like terrain slope or hillshade. The one-pixel wide circles are difficult to identify on high resolution screens (so common these days).

Proposal: Make the distance ring width and color configurable or at least set the width in physical display units rather than pixels.
