Darn, I must have seen a public github repo and assumed it was the source code without looking at the files. With your prodding I see it is just README.md and two icons/buttons but no source code :-(

Yep, it seems so. There are other alternatives on F-Droid, they might be not so fancy-looking but usable, I just installed two of them add added my loyalty card there.
