Can't install readline library...

i want the exam sim on my laptop but every time i get:

"Can't install readline library... 1. Check if g++ is installed
2. Check if libreadline-dev is installed
Please install it manually or write an Issue on Github...
make: *** [Makefile:20: gradejustinstall] Error 1 "

ive installed it manually and even installed it by downloading the tar and compiling it and i really know that its downloaded but still i keep getting this error

im using a kali vm

Did you install curl?

Have a look at the infinite loop install issue. there are some commands i had to use to get it running.

Hi! I am having the same issue since updating macOS to sequoia. It worked just fine before, but I am not able to make it work now. I've installed manually readline with homebrew but it does not seem to locate it... any help is very appreciated, thanks!
