Design OPI for isis streaming #25
Description
As a user I would like to be able to control my streaming DAE in a similar fashion to how I can do so with DAE2/DAE3s.
This will obviously have lots of placeholders on to begin with, but it'll need to tie together the PVs provided by:
borzoi - to control and configure the hardware
azawakh - to control and show things like spectra plots and so on.
Because we have control over the PVs doing all of the above, and to try and future-proof ourselves, we should strongly consider doing this as an OPI rather than an eclipse view. This can be embedded in the GUI as a perspective in place of the usual DAE perspective.
Acceptance criteria
- This ticket should output a design prototype, which can then be turned into tickets to modify the GUI to add a perspective which points at an OPI, which will be worked on in subsequent tickets.
This will largely rely on naming standards for PVs such as the ones provided by borzoi and azawakh, so part of this ticket is to define those and document them too.
