Is Drawio format acceptable for image-source

Need the Documentation Workgroup to rule on if Drawio is an acceptable format like plantuml.

Note that ITI.DeIdHandbook is looking to use this.

Not sure that we need the Doc Workgroup to approve this. As long as the source drawings are available, I do not think it is an issue. Thoughts otherwise?

my question is if the format is open enough for IHE, and we have enough confidence of future availability,.
