Does SDPi intend for MDC_ID_PROD_SPEC_PROTOCOL_REV to be the revision number for SDPi or similar?

Proposed Change

Specify a revision value that participants must include in the protocol revision and/or clarify the purpose for including this production specification to ensure interoperability. For example, it might be the value SDPi:m.n.r with m.n.r being the SDPi document version.

SPDi call 30 Jan 2026:
Yes, that would be for SDPi (which will "package" all the underlying standards).
The format would be an OID for a specific version of SDPi (SDPi conformity versioning OID arc).
We should mention this in the spec - maybe in Vol 2:A (e.g. to include SPDi version OID in discovery scope)
