issues with showing weekly/monthly downloads badge and number

Hi! I wonder if it is a github rendering issue or some other issues that caused the download statistics badges to not show up correctly. It seems to have happened here as well (check the readme page of badge package). I discovered this issue on my own package: https://github.com/zhenkewu/baker/blob/master/README.md

When I copied and pasted the badge link to the browser, it shows up correctly though...
