Tuba stops updating after waking from sleep #1621

Description

Describe the bug

I have consistently been noticing that Tuba stops updating its timeline after waking the machine from sleep. I have been monitoring the same Mastodon account on two machines (the other one is a Mac running the Mona client) and I can confirm that Mona is picking up new posts when Tuba isn't. In some instances, I have also seen Tuba pick up new posts but missing to load all the posts that occurred during sleep but more often it didn't update at all until the application was restarted. The Mastodon instance is mastodon.online.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Open Tuba
  2. Let the machine go to sleep
  3. Wake from sleep
  4. Notice Tuba timeline isn't updating even when new posts are available
