In pli-8.2 upwards it is included ciplus, you need only the certificates and another file in a directory /etc/ciplus.
It works, but at least on vu receivers with ci+ and sky de modules there are problems as follows,
If you record from a fta channel and switch to a sky channel during this process, the channel is
not scrambled and simply remains dark.
This also prevents timer recording from Sky if a timer for an fta channel has been started beforehand.

and ciplus-helper plugins like "enigma2-plugin-extensions-ci_plus_helper-openpli8.x_3_all.ipk" do not help with vu receivers.
